It's a Jungle

So, I love the jungle themed stuff they have for babies. We have a couple playmats and an amazing "exersaucer" that Kylie has tons of fun in. This thing is amazing! It has several stations where she can turn herself around to, and each one helps her learn new skills. For example, the lizzard is her absolute favorite these days. It goes through each color when she taps it -red, yellow, and blue - playing some music to each color that flashes. Once the colors have been played, she'll tap it again, and it plays a little song with all the colors! She actually sings along with it sometimes, which is the absolutely most sweetest thing I've ever heard. Of course she can't actually say the words yet, but she definetly is trying to say them. She's heard the song so many times that she remembers the melody and babbles to it. (...someday I'll get it on video)

These first two pics are from when we first got the activity center. She was around 3 months old. At first, we only put her in it once in a while for a few minutes, so not to overstimulte her. As you can tell by the pictures, she was taking it all in.

Here she is on the same morning she sat up by herself. We used this playmat since we brought her home. Perfect for tummy time, and developing her hand/eye coordination. Thanks Elaine and Jenny!

This one came with the exersaucer and it's home is our bathroom. She likes to entertain herself with it while I'm in the shower or getting ready for the day. Isn't she a cutie in her giraffe shirt? She fits right in!
